One day, Illum cut loose from briefs and guidelines to spill random art all over the drawing boards. The art translated into fashion, a line of eclectic products and even an alternate world. The alternate world was governed by creative clones – the artists at illum. A design store sprung in New Delhi to offer Play Clan to the world and thus margin-doodles were transformed to contemporary design.
