Elecrama is a biennial exhibition hosted by IEEMA, the association of the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers. As an exhibition for an industry with exponential growth potential, the vision was ambitious, to be counted amongst the world’s top E&E exhibitions. An international benchmark was set based on the expectations, along with a slew of activities to invigorate the brand, starting with the identity. Illum redesigned the hitherto incoherent brand identity of Elecrama, binding them with a unified communication strategy bound by a strong graphic identity with international appeal. The theme was based on the fact that India was in the epicenter of growth in the electrical sector. The brand language suggested centralized buzz and energy to an international audience. Elecrama 2008 was rated 4.5/5 by exhibitors and visitors.
